Natural Succulent Handlettered Wedding Invitations

Some suites come to me with so much ease, this is one of those. Dusty emailed me and described her wedding as natural, organic, with earthy tones and she wanted to include succulents. She also wanted to include some of their gorgeous engagement photos from Annamae Photography and as soon as I saw them my vision became clear. I only had to write out their names a few times to find the style I wanted to move forward with for this suite. We included light grey watercolor marks with a blue undertone to them. We printed white text onto the same grey color to create balance in the suite. Kraft envelopes with watercolor white ink, small succulent illustrations, finished and assembled with some twine, it all came together beautifully.

REAL WEDDING: Ari + Richard

So excited to share some of these photos from Ari + Richard's wedding this past summer. Ari was kind enough to send over a few from her wedding captured by the amazing Jordan Voth. Ari and Richard got married at her family's property and it looked like a seriously beautiful spot. When Ari originally reached out to me she had mentioned she wanted lots of black, white, gold and pops of pink. We used a bunch of antique ornate frames and chalkboards and incorporated floral elements into most of the designs. We did some chalkboard block table numbers with gold leafing and some really fun bar menus. One of the biggest tasks here was LITERALLY the seating chart. To date this is my largest sign yet coming in at over 6' tall and over 200 names. It means so much to me when I get to see photos of my signs at the weddings, playing a small part in something seriously so awesome. I'm always so thankful for them sharing with me, and their photographers for capturing them.
